"Good hotel"
Chose this hotel because we were visiting a daughter studying in Zaragoza and it is walking distance to the school. Hotel location is good, around the corner from the Zaragoza's main drag, Independenica. A modern business-class hotel with wireless internet, pleasant lobby and staff. We had an actual king bed instead of two twins pushed together. Hotel was able to add a rollaway for our daughter to share with us. We didn't try any food at the hotel as breakfast was extra and there are lots of restaurants in the area. It's a good hotel and the Silken web site is very easy to use.

"Decent hotel both for business and leisure"
I booked for business purposes in this hotel because the one where I used to go all the time (Melia) was full and so where most of the other upscale hotels in town. I booked a room on the business floor, because you have some extra's (perhaps they are imitating the Royal Service by Melia, but it could not compare even by far). The hotel is comfortable, but lacking character. Service was good, as in most Silken hotels, but i cannot say I had an overwhelming experience here (must be the reason why I forgot to write my review on this one!). Recommened for business purposes and short leisure stays.

"A wonderful find (at the last minute)"
My son and I were on an extended driving tour of Spain. We'd visited Barcelona for several days, spent a couple of days in the Pyrenees, and intended to drive from around the Andorra area to Madrid in one day. But ... we took our time, looking at some unanticipated beautiful sites along the way. We found ourselves too tired to continue driving about the time we hit Zaragoza. So we just drove into town and started looking for a hotel. It is a very charming city, and we found ourselves driving in relatively narrow alleys, having NO idea where we were or where we were going. We stumbled upon the Silken Reino at about the moment that our patience was set to completely run out. And what a great find it turned out to be. We were VERY travel weary, and did were not in the mood for an "authentic local experience" (often double-speak for tiny rooms, weird furniture and floor coverings, and odd/miniscule bathrooms - although not always ...). What we found in the Silken Reino was a lovely, very well appointed lobby - a clean, modern looking decor set in what seemed to be a relatively old building. The front desk staff were absolutely charming and exceptionally welcoming to these two bone tired Americans. I was a bit skeptical when I heard the price for the room (105 euros), I thought it would be the Spanish equivalent of a Red Roof Inn room. But when we were taken to our room, we were stunned to find a VERY large room - even by U.S. standards - beautifully appointed with very modern light-cherry and chrome furnishings, luxurious bed linens, sparkling clean hardwood floors, a HUGE bathroom with a very large shower (with tremendous water pressure - a luxury ANYWHERE). We had found "weary travel" heaven. Staff seemed to all speak english, so I was able to give my so-so spanish a rest after a week of abuse. And they were very helpful in giving us directions to the many interesting sites, restaurants, bars, etc. in the area. And most of the interesting sites are within easy walking distance of the hotel. We were so impressed with both the Silken Reino and Zaragoza that we stayed an extra night. I can't recommend this hotel enough. It's not a Ritz Carleton or Four Seasons facility, but it IS a beautifully executed high-class, high-service hotel that will make you feel very much at home. We have since stayed in many Hoteles Silken, and are typically highly pleased.

"Very Nice Stay"
I stayed at the Reina five days while visiting my then-high school age daughter who was spending the school year in Zaragoza. Her host family's hospitality and warmth notwithstanding, she needed to do some serious cocooning with mommy, in between shopping forays to El Corte Ingles. The hotel is nicely appointed, the service was fine, the location was perfect, and the breakfast was a delight.
