"Excellent Hotel, Great Location" As mentioned in the other reviews, we had an excellent experience in this hotel. It is located next to the park/Topkapi Palace and about 10-15 minutes walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofia, Grand Bazaar, etc. It is located on a quiet road, which made for a comfortable sleep, however right around the corner is the tram stop and a busy road. The road was quite busy at night- filled with locals and tourists, so I felt comfortable walking around. We debated about staying across the river in Taksim, but ultimately we were happy with our choice. Taxis are easy to come by and so cheap!! One main difference than many of the other hotels in the area is that the breakfast room is located in the main lobby as opposed to the rooftop. It did not hamper our visit because we could eat or grab a drink on any of the other hotel rooftops. I highly recommend going to the "7 Hills" rooftop for a meal or drink. It is located across the street from the Four Seasons and has the best views of the Blue Mosque & Aya Sofia in the city. This is a relatively new hotel in a great location with wonderful staff. Highly recommend staying here.

"loved the Sirkeci Konak hotel" This hotel is new and tastefully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable - very comfortable beds - wished my bed was as comfortable at home! The hotel overall was very pleasant - sunny breakfast dining area, and a comfortable lounge area where tea is served at 5pm. The staff was always friendly and available to chat with about Istanbul and our daily sight-seeing. In addition, all questions were always greeted with more information on the topic, and often a book available to look at on the topic of interest. The location of the hotel is ideal - in the old city and within walking distance of so much. The welcoming environment of this hotel contributed to a great vacation and a wonderful time in Istanbul. I am already making plans to return to this same hotel -- next time I will make time to make use of their pool, fitness area and get a massage!

"Excellent concierge" We enjoyed the hotel, its location, breakfast, very friendly staff, beautiful roof terrace. But most of all we profited from the extremely helpful, efficient and friendly concierge who never failed an answer to our questions and requests.
