LOCATION

The Porto Carras luxury hotel complex is located on the western coast of Sithonia peninsula, the middle leg of Halkidiki. The hotel lies directly on a 1600m long sandy beach. Porto Carras Casino is the first established casino in North Greece and unique in the region of Chalkidiki.

* Food & Drinks
Twice weekly theme buffets take place (Italian & Mediterranean). During meals wine, beers, traditional spirits, soft drinks and water are offered. Also at the disposal of the AIl guests once per week from 19:30-22:00 and with a 24hr prior reservation, are the White Room A la Carte restaurant at the lobby area (with international cuisine) and the Greek tavern Pergola (Greek night - weather permitted). Snacks such as assortment of open sandwiches, canapes, cheese pies, sausages, etc are available between 11:00 & 13:00 at the pool area as well as ice cream from 10:30-18:00. Afternoon tea & coffee time with cakes & pastry is from 15:30-17:30. Midnight snacks are on offer from 23:30-24:30. Locally & imported produced alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks from the card (excluded premium brands, French cognacs and French champaign) like wine, beer, spirits, water, etc along with chips & nuts are served from 10:00-01:00 at the pool bar (10:30-18:00, summer season) and the lobby bar (10:30-01:00, timetable according to season). In-room mini bars are filled daily with local wine, beer, traditional spirits, water and chips.

Sport facilities at the hotel include fitness centre, indoor pool, sauna (only for guests over 16 years old), table tennis, jogging paths, football field, two mini soccer courts (5x5 & 8x8), basketball court, beach volleyball field, golf lessons (one lesson/stay with prior reservation), tennis lessons (one lesson/stay with prior reservation), pedaloes & canoes (one hour/room/stay, prior reservation, Jun-Sep), mini club with daily activities, playground for kids aged 4-12yrs old, sunbeds, umbrellas and towels by the pool area and at the beach. The whole family can spend a pleasant time by the beautiful lagoons area that lies in front of the Sithonia Thalasso & Spa, where kids can enjoy their own pool. The Disneyland train provides tours around the resort with a stop at the wine tasting room, where guests are able to try organically produced wines (Porto Carras Domain). Entertainment includes animation programme (day & evenings), Porto Carras Festival during June-August, live music (June-August) and Greek dancing nights.
