Sofitel Lyon Bellecour Hotel is a hundred meters from the place Bellecour where shops, cinemas and restaurants make up the majority of the neighborhood.

This is a very good 4-star property centrally located, with very comfortable bedrooms and a high level of service.

The hotel has 2 restaurants. Le Sofi Shop is a brasserie providing a wide selection of meals adapted to a tight time schedule. Les trois Domes is a fine dining restaurant, located on the 8th fllor of the hotel, with a panoramic view of the Rhone and the city. It proposes local specialities. Also on the 8th floor, Le Melhor is a cocktail bar.

Sofitel Lyon Bellecour Hotel is located on the banks of the Rhone River, in the heart of the antique dealers' quarter and close to the famous Place Bellecour. Nearby attractions include the Eurexpo Trade Fair Grounds, the Fabric Museum and the Puppet Museum.

"Lovely Hotel"
We just returned from a three-night stay at the Sofitel Lyon Bellecour. This is a very comfortable hotel, and our room was lovely (although we had no view other than a rooftop). We were in room #118 which was surprisingly spacious (compared to some of the others). The bed was quite comfortable with excellent pillows (always a nice surprise when traveling in Europe). The bathroom was very roomy and well appointed and included a bidet (not all the rooms have one). The location of this hotel is excellent, within walking distance of shopping, restaurants, etc.

"First time in France"
I had the privilege of visiting Lyon on a business trip. I very much enjoyed my stay and the hotel was just perfect. The people were friendly and helpful. Since I do not speak French they went as far as reading the menu for me. I loved the location. I could walk through the old town section of the city which I found beautiful. I look forward to staying there again.
