" a very nice "first world" hotel."
Sofitel Marrakech Hotel is a very nice "first world" hotel. It is clean, very big with the various features you would expect. However, the hotel staff could be friendlier and more proactive. |

"Loved it!!!"
We stayed at the Sofitel Marrakech in July 2005 and LOVED it! The room was very spacious, including a sitting area... and beautifully decorated. The bathroom was a nice size, modern clean, and had a cute stained glass window into the main part of the room. There was a really main nice bar with great outdoor seating. There was also a smaller outdoor bar downstairs on a patio area. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help. All commom areas had a very Moroccan feel and were well maintained. We had no noise problems at all. We would love to stay here again. The included photos are off of the room's balcony.

"We had a very good stay in this hotel"
We spent a week in the Sofitel Marrakech in late August and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is recent (built in 2002). We found the room's size fine (Deluxe version i.e around 40m²) as we were travelling with our four years old daughter. It was also very comfortable and we had no noise problems. The staff was really sympathetic and always had a special attention for our child. She really enjoyed the swiming pool (nice, big and with very few people using it). Restaurants are average +, but please try the Yacout! My wife went to the spa and loved it. Well, let's make it short !!! we loved our stay at the sofitel Marrakech.

"Best hotel in Marrakech"
We stayed here for 4 days early October just in the start of the Ramada no problems.
The room was big and no noise at all.(like you have in hotels inside the medina because of the calls for prays at 4 in the morning).
The pool area was nice and relaxing good sevice also should go to the indoor pool very nice.
The staff was polite and the lawrance bar you have to visit the staff the best and service is 6 stars.
The spa is also great do a Hammen nice.
JUST THE BEST HOTEL.
Just one thing it is always good to have a person who speaks french near you, else the taxi drivers will cheat you and take you to places where they get commision.
I can also recommend to have dinner at La YACOUT around 70 eur per person incl. drinks.
And if you want to have nice dinner and see danca ventre go to le comptoir(paris-marrakech)
