"Will never stay anywhere else while in Bangkok" I am a heavy business traveler and have traveled to over 30 countries and have stayed in hundreds of hotels and serviced apartments over the years. This is truly one of the best! It is a home away from home for me. The apartments are newly renovated and roomy....the staff is superb .. the facilities are top notch ... the only weakness is the restaurant....fine for breakfast but not much else.

"Great apartment for the price of a hotel room" I have always been a fan of serviced apartments as they provide so much more value than a hotel, yet having the same (if not less) price tag. Somerset Park Suanplu is the ideal demonstration of this as it is ideally located, with lovely furnished apartments, and has very professional staff. The rooms are amazingly well furnished and the working area (desk and chair) are extremely comfortable compared to other hotel room's clunky furniture. The plus point is also the excellent view from the balcony when you're bored from working at night. The beds are comfortable, and the bathrooms are very spacious and clean. Nothing to complain about, except for the weak breakfast selection and rude breakfast staff whom you should avoid whenever possible. Nothing ruins your morning more than people hustling you out by clearing your breakfast plates immediately without warning... or unceremoniously dumping cutlery, paper or other knick-knacks suddenly without a word or look.
