"The new pool area was beautiful"
South Seas Resort's room was far from the main pool area, but the trolley came around often or we could simply drive there - plenty of parking. I think as long as you request upgraded units in non-construction areas you should be fine staying here. The new pool area was beautiful. When I took the kids to Scoops (Pizza/Ice Cream Parlor) and they saw the huge variety of candy they went crazy!

"South Seas Resort had everything."
South Seas Resort had everything. It was a perfect getaway for my wife and myself as there were no crowds at the beach or the pools. The short walk from our room to the beach or to a pool was perfect. The restaurants and shops within the resort are a bit expensive but it is a resort so it is expected. At this point we are trying to figure out when we can go again.
