don't come to splendid hotel
The street is tiny , the local people seating every where to eat local foods. a lots of noise . there will be no fun if you don't book services they offer. |

Friendly Staff with big smiling !
This place is completely unlike any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. It’s down a narrow street where vendors sell food on stalls and local people sit around. In fact, as some reviews have suggested, it is really more of a guest house than a hotel. From the outside, it looks almost makeshift. The staffs were very welcoming, but when we were shown to our room,The staff were delightful - very friendly and helpful. The hard beds were incredibly comfortable, the shower was powerful and just what we needed. The decor was charming – I was expecting that from the hotel website’s description and pictures – but with a negative hat on, some parts looked shabby. I felt generally a bit uneasy, and not entirely happy we were staying here at the start of our holiday. |

Very comfortable in here.
Good service, they meet all my request. Only 5 minutes walk to t and main street, lots of restaurant and shops close by the malls very convenience. Reception was efficient.No smoking room was nice. There is breakfast included,the room is very clean with many TV channel and DVD player,they have also support Wireless Internet in the room, It was great ! Almost next to bus station,shopping streets so easily accessible to other parts of Hanoi. It is a good hotel. Will definitely recommend it to others."

Great location !
Excellent location , free wireless net-access and great customer service. Thanks to the hotel my brother and I found a huge variety of restaurants ride outside the entrance. Hotel facilities (small bar, etc) were good, and staff very helpful. The location is good for general shopping, over the street dining, visiting to the First University in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh Museums & Mausoleum and also free Breakfast and dining in the hotel are highly satisfactory at no prices with enjoying the lemon juice or coffee.So happy to recommend the hotel to other travelers. " |

Never disappointed in there
There and we are never disappointed. Very good value for money. Splendid Star Hotel is right in the heart of the nightlife center Hanoi Old Quarter Street. All major attractions are close by. Staff always ready to help.Facilities very good. Have no hesitation in saying we will be back again in the near future." The hotel was very accessible as the nearest bus station, malls… was only a distance away. The street was lined with activities of sort (food, bars, transportation, money changers), so location wise, it was quite perfect. |

Prompt service and helpful staff !
The rooms not too small by Hanoi standards and were clean. The facilities are excellent for this grade of hotel and staff were excellent. Enjoyed the breakfast facilities which were peaceful, calm and not too busy. The staff was very attentive during the breakfast service,they have also free Wireless Internet and offering coffee ,beverages. I ordered room service which was very prompt and delicious. The location is very central, handy to the Central station and the area is lively and interesting.The location is right in the middle of Hanoi’s drinking . |

Decoration was so cool !
The hotel is actually better than what I thought in term of interior decorations. The Lobby and room is small but it is enough in Hanoi, so it's a perfect size for budget travellers.The room I got was very clean and enough space for a couple to share one room. it was a pleasure stay at largos. Less than two minutes walk to Hoan Kiem Lake Street, I would say. Room considered small but acceptable if for two people. We had a relatively small bathroom but our friends got a big one with bathtub. Splendid Star Hotel is strategically located. Accessible to great shopping areas. definitely would choose this hotel again if i would to be back at Hanoi. |

Great room , excellent service !
This hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was great and the hotel staffs were fantastic and very helpful. It was also quite close to the CDB and was a great base from which to explore the Hanoi Old Quarter Street." he hotel is strategically located at fufenpu which is the garment wholesale market.
