"awesome hotel" Sometimes i think some people really like to just complain for the hell of it and i assume thats what the people who have given bad reviews to this hotel MUST have done. I would imagine them as the type of people who like to walk round their friends houses with a white glove tutting if they find a spek of dust... I have stayed in a good few really top class hotels all over the world and to be honest, during my stay at St David's no-one put a foot wrong. From the concierge to the reception staff, and from the waiters to the maids...everybody made us feel absolutely welcome and gave us absolute top class service at all times. I would honetly recommend this place to anyone at anytime...a couple of tips though, make sure you check the hotel's website for offers before you book because they ARE there and remember to pack you swimming gear because the spa facilities are amazing.

"Excellent Service" Have just come back from staying one night at the St Davids Hotel in Cardiff Bay. It was lovely. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We opted for the deal they do of £125 for Friday night including half a bottle of wine and breakfast in a standard king room. That was good value. On top of this, they upgraded us to a Delux King Room on the top floor with a balcony overlooking Cardiff Bay - very lovely view. It was all very clean and well presented. The staff were very attentive, but not intrusive. They managed to make us feel very special - we even had an anniversary card popped under the door from the hotel. They helpfully booked taxis when needed, and were very happy to accomodate most requests. We ordered breakfast in our room. A continental breakfast was included in the rate, but we opted to have a cooked breakfast each and added a few extras like smoked salmon, and also asked them for Decaf Tea, which wasn't on their menu. The breakfast arrived the next morning on time, and was really excellent - fresh ingredients, hot food, not at all greasy, plenty of toast. We were able to eat it on our balcony. We anticipated paying extra for the extra breakfast we ordered, but we were not charged any extra at all. It seemed like a very reasonably priced stay - costing about the same as a really average hotel in London!
