"What a pearl!!"
Like last review, I picked this hotel based on trip advisor rating..
I must thank you all for this suggestion!! The Hotel is located in a very easy accessible part of Budapest, just in front of the Chain Bridge. To give you an idea, it is just behind the Four Season Hotel, the Sofitel and the Intercontinental. Ok, they are really in front of the Chain Bridge, but 100 m walking distance is perfect if you pay 1/8 comparing to those hotels.. Main Budapest shopping street (Vaci utca) is 5 minute walking, a small supermarket 1 minutes, nearest Metro station 5 minutes..
Rooms are exactly as in their website: a separate lounge with TV, minibar (everything inside!!), microwave.. bedroom is confortable, and bathroom is provided with good quality items.
Receptionists were very very helpfull, giving me some advice tabout how to solve some problems I had. I decided to stay there two more nights (5 in total), and I was very satisfied with my decision. Continental breakfast is included: buffet is not too big, but ok if you are not going to spend 2 hours eating. Room services was perfect: even when I woke up at 13:00, after just 2 hours my room was cleaned.
I agree with the suggestion abut pillows: they are VERY thin.. I used two of them to be able to sleep.
Hotel is provided with Sauna, fitness center and Turkish bath.. I did not try them, so I cannot share my opinion..
Parking is 15 euro/night, expensive.. but on Saturday and Sunday you can park your car in the street without having to pay nothing (and it is safe!). No restaurant in Hotal, but plenty of them around it. I'd suggest the Tom George, in oktober 6 utca nr.8.. a trendy restaurant, but with an excellent service.
Just a remark about the hotel: the air condition was a little noisly.. I know: turning on it in April is not normal, and maybe they will check it for the summer.. but, anyway, i wanted to let you know.
So: perfect location, perfect services, big and clean room.. Price was about 120 euro/night (booked throught an internet site), but it worths the money!!
Guys, I'm not used to be enthusiastic about an Hotel.. but this one is a must if you want to visit Budapest, staying in a central position, without spending too much..

"High Class Suites close to River"
This hotel has to have the best rooms at this price that I have seen in a major European city. Large and very well appointed. You just have to realise that there are not really other facilites on-site (bar/restaurant) but the backstreets near the hotel are full of good food and drink. The chain bridge is just outside offering access across the river and on the same side you have all the major hotels and riverside restaurants to enjoy.
Note that there is a gym and mixed sauna/wet area in the hotel. The gym equipment is well looked after and there is also a massage room which requires 24 hour advanced booking. A bit of care required in the sauna. A group of german tourists were using it and were completely naked. This can be a little disturbing at the end of a busy day. Would be OK except that the area is in plain view whilst you are using the gym!
Staff were friendly and helpful and there are no problems coming in late at night with 24 hour concierge. Overall, pretty much faultless.

"Very good value - excellent hotel"
All the reviews that I read were very good, and the hotel didn't disappoint. Considering the price paid, this hotel provided excellent value for money and I would recommend it to anyone.
The check in service was friendly and helpful, and the room was very good, with a kitchenette (like you see in the candid photos) area, living room area with desk, and bedroom area.
The hotel is well situated for easy walking access either to the river and bridges or to the cafes and shops around Andrassy.
WLAN access was reasonably priced and very reliable.
There is a supermarket only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel - ideal for longer stays, considering the kitchen facility in the room.
What was not so good were the curtains in the room - they just didn't seem to block out very much light in the mornings.
Whilst there is a bar in the lobby, it is only small and not the kind of bar that hotel clients will congregate in. I had a G&T as a nightcap a couple of times, but was the only person in the bar.
Breakfast was fine, but I would not pay for the buffet breakfast, as the only difference seemed to be that you had ham and cheese, and cooked bacon, sausage and scrambled eggs. The continental breakfast included in the price of the room was sufficient.
I would certainly recommend this hotel, and will probably stay there again next time around.
