This 13th century castle offers 32 modern rooms with different capacities. they are different size rooms, with 6 /8 pax shared dormitories (mixed, woman, men dorms). all rooms are equipped with en-suite bathroom (no towels), bunk beds, electronic lock, small wardrobe, table lamp by every bed and bed linen.it also features a garden, bar in the tower, restaurant, internet access, meeting rooms, function rooms, left luggage, terrace, playing field and table tennis. the hostel does not admit children under 12.

Location: in heemskerk, ideal departure point to discover the nearby cities of alkmaar, haarlem and amsterdam (there is a bus from the hotel to velsen from where the ferry leaves to go to amsterdam). 3 km. from lake uitgeester and the north holland dune reserve. close to the beach and the tourist village of zaanse schans.
