Steadings Hotel does offer a welcome to everybody. Steadings Hotel is in the small, picturesque village of Farr. Built in 1860, the building was once a farm steading, and formed part of the original Flichity Hotel.

It still retains many of its original features, which have been incorporated into an establishment that offers fine, modern standards of hospitality and a warm, informal atmosphere where you will feel completely at home.

Steadings Hotel is located in a quiet area of magnificent Scottish scenery, yet it is ideally placed to explore the area. Loch Ness only a short distance away, and bustling Inverness - now one of the most rapidly expanding cities in Britain - is only about twenty minutes north. * The Clach an' Airm restaurant within the hotel is a favourite place among tourists and visitors alike. Though relaxed and informal, it is spacious and comfortable, serving great food and the best wines.

* The cuisine is Scottish with Continental influences, with the kitchen only using fresh Scottish and Highland produce in its dishes. Why not try the hotel's famous cullen skink - a great Highland delicacy - a tasty fish soup using locally caught seafish? Or collops of beef fillet on Cockburn's haggis and stovied potatoes?
