"Fabulous and pet friendly!"
Spent two nights at the Summit Lodge over Easter weekend...our first trip to Whistler in years and our first stay at this property. Found a terrific rate on Expedia where the Lodge was also listed as pet-friendly. Not only did they have our room ready at 10am but they genuinely welcomed our pooch and gave her a treat every single time she came though the lobby. If you've ever attempted to travel with a pet, you understand our amazement. Our King Studio was on the small side but immaculate, tastefully decorated and quiet. For the price, no complaints. Request a room not facing the pool if the weather is warm, however, as it tended to get a bit loud in the evening. Nonetheless, for the location, the price and their pet friendly policy, we'll absolutely be back.

"Dog Friendly & Fantastic Spa"
Stayed here over the Thanksgiving Holidays in the 1 BR Suite (Nov '04). I'll definitely be back. The view of the Mtn from our room was beautiful (pool facing) - and monrings had the sun shining thru our room for hours. The maid service was quick and would work around leaving the room for only a short time with my dogs and was very friendly with them as well. Had the Javanese massage - was fantastic after a day of skiing! One downside was the bed was hard. Great Crepe place across the street for breakfast and walking distance to the mtn. Great overall location.

"Surpassed my expectations."
I have just returned from staying at the Summit Lodge. My experience of Whistler was excellent and I believe a big part of the whole trip was the quality of the Summit Lodge. The hotel was very clean, well run and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again and tell my friends about it. A great place to stay and to get around from. The hotels runs a very good shuttle bus, a supermarket is over the road and the free Whistler shuttle if you stay in the bars until late stops 4 minutes away.

"Fantastic place to stay"
We just returned from a seven night stay at the Summit Lodge. I have nothing but praise for this hotel and the staff that took such good care of us while we were there. The staff at this hotel went out of their way for us while preparing for our wedding last week. They made our stay such a great experience. The hotel is beautiful and the room was very comfortable . The housekeeping staff was remarkable and added nice little touches. Best stay we have had at a hotel EVER!!
