An ideal place for a quality relaxive and fun holiday.

Beautifully situated on the shore of Loch Long, this traditional Swallow Arrochar Hotel enjoys magnificent views across Loch Long to the mountains beyond. Public areas are pleasant and bedrooms are fresh and bright. The Arrochar hotel provides an excellent base for touring. Glasgow is just 45 minutes drive as is the Model Village of Inverary.

Guests can ask staff at the front desk for tips on local sightseeing attractions and use Internet connections to plan days out. The lounge bar serves a range of drinks including fine malt whiskies, and guests can dine in the restaurant, which overlooks Loch Long.

"Nice hotel"
We stayed here for 4 nights second week of December, on a coach trip from England. We knew the journey for us would be long, we have visited Arrochar in the past. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel, very comfortable, plenty of hot water in bathroom for showers or baths, morning and night. Weather was very mild during our stay so as the heating in the hotel we assume was geared to sub-zero temps, we had our window in bedroom open most of our stay. Food was more than adequate, plenty of choice, only one minus point short of staff at meal times, otherwise an enjoyable stay.
