Formerely a manor house, over the years, Swallow Bower Hotel has been sympathetically extended and refurbished to provide first class public areas and modern, comfortable bedrooms, whilst keeping the original charachter and charm.

Built in the Victorian era by one the area's most famous families, the Swallow Bower Hotel is well located for exploring the region's towns and countryside. Over the years the hotel's original character has been sympathetically maintained and enhanced to cater for guests with both leisure and business needs.

Bedrooms and are ideal for business travellers and families who require more space. Although less than a minutes drive from the M60, the hotel is set well back from the road, nestled in it's own grounds and has free parking for 120 cars. Many of the bedrooms overlook the pretty garden at the back of the hotel.

After a day's shopping or business, guests can relax with a drink on the hotel�s patio. More active guests can take advantage of the nearby fitness centre. Staff on the 24-hour front desk are available with help and advice on the hotel and the surrounding area.

* The Sheridan Restaurant is an extensive range of dishes is available for breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday; dishes can include Shark Marinated in Cajun Spices, Duck Breast with a Black Cherry and Kirsch Sauce, Sirloin Steak Diane and Steak Pie. The dining room is light and airy and overlooks the hotel gardens.

* The Lounge Bar is furnished with big sofas and armchairs, the lounge serves drinks; a bar snack menu is available until 9.30 PM. Menu includes sandwiches, salads and full meals such as Breaded Scampi and Chicken Tikka Massala.

This service has recently been enhanced by the addition of our purpose built Henshaws Conference Centre. The popular hotel conference rooms can seat up to 200 with on-site business services, a relaxing lounge area and a secret enclosed garden area. In total the hotel has seven meeting rooms which can be easily adapted to the many and varied requests.
