"A Great Hotel & Town"
Outstanding in every way. In a peacful lakeside position close to the pier and easy access to the lake boats. Old world charm coupled with excellent service & food. Dine by the lake on fine summer evenings. Small grassed hotel lakeside private area for relaxing and swimming with shower. Book lake view room for outstanding views. Excellent value for a 5* hotel. One of Switzerlands best kept secrets in a super town with lots of excellent walks and trips, location is super.

You cannot fault this hotel! Perfect position and everything you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The staff are exemplary and most helpful. Our second visit here and hopefully many more to come! Right next to the steamer pier or 10 minutes walk from the station. Don't miss it!!

"A wonderful hotel"
You cannot beat the location of this hotel - brilliant views of lakes and mountains with wonderful walking paths nearby. The room we had was exceptionally comfortable - very large with a sofa and a chair as well as a big bed. Fresh fruit was placed in the room every day during our 7 night stay. It was defintely a place to relax. We got a good deal on the hotel's own website by going for 'best room available on arrival' and were very lucky to get a room with a lake view, though we doubt whether this would happen at peak times. The breakfast was great. We agree with the previous reviewer that the choice was not as extensive as in other hotels I have stayed in, BUT the quality of what was on offer was very good - tasty cheeses and ham, cereals, breads and pastries, yoghurt, bacon, eggs and again lots of fresh fruit. What else would one want?!
