"Absolutely Lovely"
i stayed in this hotel for 3 nights last week and it was lovely, they are having some construction work done but it didnt interfere with my stay at all.
I would highly recommend this hotel as its 5 mins walk from the Placa Catalunya and the ramblas.
Staff were friendly and the place was clean. I would definitely stay here again

"We Had a Great Time!"
My Boyfriend & I stayed in this hotel last weekend, we went to Barcelona to see the football at the Nou Camp!
We had a brilliant time, the hotel is pretty basic but its all you need for a few days away!
The staff are all very helpful, anything you need they are there to help! All the rooms are very clean & they have everything you need in them....Mini Bar, shower, safe, etc....
The hotel is almost in the centre of the city.... the best way to travel is by the metro (very easy to use) this way you get to see all the city!
We stayed for 2 nights & although we used the tube a lot, i have never walked so much in my life, so make sure you pack your walking shoes
If you do decide to stay at this hotel, hope you have a great time! We certainley did!

"Ideal for us"
Thoughly enjoyed our short stay ( 3 nights) in this hotel.
Location was very central for all the main attractions. We travelled from the airport and back by aerobus which if you don't have too much luggage is great. Therafter able to walk to most areas we wanted to see and to get tourist bus for round city tours.
Hotel room was on 6th floor looking over main road but with double glazing onto balcony was pretty quiet. The hotel did have some building work going on but we saw no evidence of this.
Room was well furnished and clean with fresh towels every day.
Buffet continental breakfast was fine - only complaint was water to make coffee was in vacuum flasks which meant it was tepid but good selection for breakfast available.
Would love to return to Barcelona and would consider this hotel again.

"Perfect position"
My husband and I have just returned from a 6 night break at the Taber. The hotel was clean, tidy and had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. La Rambla was just around the corner and all the tourist sites were within easy reach. Transport was excellent, both the tour buses and the Metro, but we still did a lot of walking (comfortable shoes are a must). The highlight of our holiday was the football at the Nou Camp - fantastic atmosphere and so safe. Barcelona is a must for people who love city breaks, and the hotel Taber can definetely be recommended.

"Wonderful Hotel!"
My fiance and I stayed at the Hotel Taber on a quick vacation to Barcelona last summer. We found the rooms to be excellent and the staff to be quite courteous. We also loved the area. It had great cafes, restaurants and shops and was in a very peaceful part of the city. About a 5 minute walk to the metro, public trasnportation was easily accessible. We explored many parts of the city but were very glad to make Hotel Taber our home base. I would definitely stay there again!

"Nice location"
My boyfriend and I stayed here last weekend and I was not sure what to expect but we had a great time. The hotel is in a great location by being a 5/10 minute walk from Las Ramblas so is easy to get to but you dont feel as if you are amongst all the noise. The room we had was lovely, very clean bathroom and room. I do not have any complaints about the hotel at all and would recommend it to anyone. The staff were also very helpful.

We stayed here for a long weekend and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff where very helpful. The location is just a few minuets walk from La Ramblas so it was nice and quite at night time. Would stay there again.

Hcc Taber Hotel, Arrago, Barcelona
We found the hotel excellent and very central to everthing a tourist would want to go to. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast superb! Unfortunately, some rooms have windows opening into the internal walls which therefore make those rooms look like 'box rooms' and therefore very claustrophobic ... we later found out that this is sometimes typical of the buildings in Barcelona! This aside, there are also some excellent rooms which we eventually managed to move into after the first 24 hours. The Internet access is also very useful for travellers! There is wireless connection only in the bar area which is not ideal as as a non-smoker, I was reluctant to use my laptop there until early morning when the cigarette smoke had dispersed. Some rooms have ADSL internet connection, but not in every room. It would have been handy to have wifi or ADSL connections in every room. We will definitely stay at the hotel again on our next visit to Barcelona. So, well done to the staff! Mr & Mrs Wong from UK |

"fantastic city"
we stayed at the hcc taber hotel over the new year period and was quite dissapointed with the room that we had, which was at the back of the hotel at the bottom with no views at all and very stained walls, but as a positive i must say that the beds were very comfortable and the reception staff pleasant, the hotel was in a good position for sightseeing and what a beautiful city to do it in, if your taking a car there is no parking strictly for the hotel but there is a carpark next door to the hotel which costs approximately 25.00euros with overnight parking
overall a lovely city to visit and can't wait to go back

"perfectly located"
During our second visit to Bacelona we have choosen the hotel at randon and never regreted our choice. The hotel is pefectly located several steps to the line of bouleveards (Ramblas) which 1) in the evening gives you perfect chance of sitting outside in one of numerouse not expensive cafes and feeling the taste of evening Barcelona 2) in the daytime easily leads (abt 15 min of walk) you to the famouse theme Ramblas and then to the famouse historical places in the old city of Barcelona. In different direction in abt 15 min you will find Gaudi houses, and in abt half an hour of walk (mb 40 minutes)- Sagrada Familia. The rooms are convenient and well equipped. The staff is very friendly and helpful (we travelled with our bicycles and the staff found the possibility to place them inside which is really great for a city hotel :) The breakfast is a little bit too expensive but next door you will find a small privat cafe which works from early in the morning (and don't forget about the great number of cafes on the boulveard). We would recomend the hotel for those who want to feel the city from inside.
