Tai-pan Hotel's room was large and comfortable. It is very well situated near the Sky Train and Metro. Restaurants and bars in walking distance. IT does not have the charm of fancier hotels, but you are also not paying 5 star prices.

Tai-pan Hotel is very good, the location is very good too, the rooms are spacious and clean, the carpent should be changed. The staff is friendly and helpfull, breakfast is very good. About the wired high-speed internet connection I was disappointed, quite expensive for Thailand.

Tai - Pan Hotel is a very clean, comfortable, and quiet hotel. It is located in a nice part of the city, on a quiet street just a block or two off Sukhumvit Road. It was easy to walk to great restaurants and just across the street from the city's most highly rated Vietnamese restaurant, which I recommend. The hotel is also close to a metro stop. The breakfast buffet was not the best, but it was fine.

We was at Tai-Pan for 3 nights and will return if we're in Bangkok. The value for price is very good, the location is very good too, the rooms are spacious and clean, the carpent should be changed. The staff is friendly and helpfull, breakfast is very good. About the wired high-speed internet connection I was disappointed, quite expensive for Thailand and really slow-speed. If to much users are online the connection is even unusable and the reclamation email to the provider was never responded.

"Good location, nice mid-range hotel"
We spent the last night of our trip at the Tai Pan. We arrived in Bangkok from Ko Samui to find that we did not have reservations. So, we booked the Tai Pan through the airport travel desk. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find a nice, very clean hotel. The location was great. Close to good shopping, restaurants, and the skytrain and subway, yet tucked off of the busy roadway. Nothing "unique" about it, but clean and well appointed. Overall a great value.

"Comfortable, convenient hotel at good price"
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is an old hotel with little charm, but makes up for this in comfort and convenience. The breakfast buffet was amazing! Tons of different foods to try. The room was large and comfortable, It is very well situated near the Sky Train and Metro. REstaurants and bars in walking distance. IT does not have the charm of fancier hotels, but you are also not paying 5 star prices. We payed around $60 a night and for that price, I have no complaints!
