IT WAS DISASTER We haven’t expected such a poor service for the 3 star hotel (quite expensive). The room by itself wasn’t too bad, except from the bed mattress, which was uncomfortable and overused with springs easily felt. Dusty room. Only small window faces the courtyard. The courtyard, on which they play music almost 24 hours a day!!! Yes, believe us, we were very surprised that the 3 star hotel has an outside disco/club place. We booked the hotel more than 3 months ahead and we asked for the quiet room. What we received? The room next to the 4 beds room booked for stag night!!! And they even didn’t inform us about this when we checked in. The crowd and the noise outside finished at 1am, but they moved beer barrels from one place to the other just in front of our room window (and this is their normal procedure). We could manage to cope with this. But we couldn’t cope with around 8 drunken men “travelling” all night and banging the corridor doors (corridor only to that 2 rooms – ours and theirs). All the doors in this hotel were creaking awfully. We were complete exhausted after that night. We asked about another room but they refused. The manager didn’t even want to talk to us. Sunday night was even worse – real club music (very loud) outside the pub. We don’t know how this hotel received 3 stars. If you are party animal this is the place for you. But if you want to rest after all day sightseeing STAY AWAY!!! 1.6
