The hotel underwent a complete restoration in 2002 to celebrate its 75th anniversary. New services and amenities were added and a prized collection of original art and antiques is now on display throughout the hotel. Overlooking the flowers and ponds of the Boston Public Garden, the Taj Boston hotel sits at the corner of Newbury and Arlington streets in Boston, Mass. Boston Common is one block from the hotel. Hatch Shell and the Theater District are two blocks away, while Copley Place, Freedom Trail and the Hynes Convention Center are within one mile of the property. Logan International Airport is three miles from the hotel.
