"Nice hotel!"
Me and my girlfriend styed one night here in August 2004. Quick check-in but unfortunately we got a room on the second floor. But hey who cares when youre staying just one night. Don't use the hotel bar, its expensive!

"convenient, good size, clean room"
Stayed here for two nights, excellent location hotel is 5 mins walk from the old city and opposite a shopping mall. If you cut through the shopping mall the walk is shorter. Rooms are large by european standards, very clean, we were on the 9th floor, fantastic views of the harbour and outer tallinn. If you are looking for character don't go here, if you looking for a decent clean moden hotel which has a great breakfast ... then this is it. Staff are very helful too. We arrived early before check in and the concierge locked out bags away so we could go exploring. We walked all over the old town which was very beautiful and medieval, definately worth its reputation, take a good pair of walking shoes and a camera, a rain coat or umbrella. Like Poland short sharp sudden showers prevail here when you least expect it. There are fantastic views from every corner, its good to get a book and plot your own route. We did take the bus city tour which they tell you goes from the Viru hotel...it actually goes from across the street from outside a sign that says sex shop.....in case you need the exact location. but you can't miss it as it is in bright red double decker london buses. This was well worth it you see other parts of tallinn left from the soviet era, residential districts and to rest weary feet. We chose a time when it looked as though it was going to rain. All the restaurants we went in were excellent, the pepper sack was a favourite as well as the cafes in the town square. If you want a different drink try the cranberry cider... excellent stuff.

"A very pleasant stay at Tallinnk Hotel"
I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Rooms service was very reasonable and efficient. The rooms are very clean and of a good size. The mini bar is well stocked and reasonably priced. TV has many channels, but the pay movies are a little pricey. The location of the hotel is very good - just a 5 min walk from the old town square. Many shops surround the hotel and the hotel offers vouchers for taxis to the airport which can save you more than 50% of normal fares. Of the 6 hotels I have visited in Tallinn, I have found this to be the best of the bunch.
