The Tasmaria is family running and is the end result of Neo and Irenes' motive to create their own business, an effort dating back to the 1970's where times were different, when roads were non existent, when development was to a minimal level and when the inhabitants of the area amounted to no more than 30.

It was then when Neo believed that he could use the then track-road, that led to the Coral-
Bay Beach as more or less a restaurant for the driver and the first stone was set, the restaurant known then as "Kings Palace Restaurant" was built and rented out.

A few years later, Irene thought about building 2-3 rooms above the restaurant, before continuing by adding another 10 rooms and kept on adding until reaching the present state of 54.

The Tasmaria Hotel Apartments name derives from the two offspring of Neo and Irene, Tas and Maria and therefore, Tasmaria.

LOCATION

The Tasmaria is located centrally between the old town of Paphos and the new town.

In the Old town you will find the Market, museums and also several cafes for your daytime visits, the new town has to exhibit the glories and the history of the past along with the fishing harbour.

The Tasmaria is ideally situated in close proximity to, but far enough away from the busy nights of the harbour area, where you can enjoy a meal at the restaurants close to the Tasmaria and afterwards a drink by the Tasmaria pool bar

PROPERTY AMENITIES

The Tasmaria Swimming pool is a central place within the hotel, located next to the
pool bar /snack bar and the reception area.

The pool is ideal for a cooling splash after a long days' sunbathing under the warm
cyprus sun. The swimmimg pool has a sun terrace with sunbeds and umbrellas which
are free for the use of our guests.


The Tasmaria Pool Bar is an ideal shady retreat, after a long days' sunbathing in the
warm sun during the day-time and an open-air bar at night time, suitable for those
seeking a drink among friends staying in the same hotel.

Occasionally at night time, around the Tasmaria Swimming Pool, BBQ nights are organised
in an informal atmosphere and some other activities such as pool table competitions.

Our Island Blue Restaurant and Bar serves all drinks, snacks and also steaks and various other dishes from the international and ethnic cuisine, in a cosy atmosphere with an
open fire place during the winter.

The Island Blue Restaurant is located at the front of the Tasmaria and is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.

A restaurant with a fine atmosphere for a romantic dinner and good quality food.
