The Ben Doran is located in central Edinburgh, right on the A701, with an excellent bus service to the city centre. It has its own private parking with views of renowned Edinburgh architecture and beautiful hillsides from every room. The owners pride themselves on their good hospitality and guests are assured of a warm welcome throughout the year.

All bedrooms have recently been completely refurbished. The rooms are charmingly decorated, cosy and comfortable with all the amenities you would expect, including colour television, clock/radios with alarms, hairdryers, central heating, tea/coffee free and available at all times, iron available on request.

LOCATION

Conveniently located for Edinburgh city centre, The Ben Doran Hotel is set in a recently refurbished Georgian listed building, providing a perfect blend of traditional Scottish hospitality and modern-day facilities.

This remarkable hotel is an ideal base from which to explore Edinburgh, a city steeped in history, as well as its major attractions such as the Edinburgh Castle, the new Scottish Museum, Holyrood Palace and the Dynamic Earth science centre.

PROPERTY AMENITIES

* A sumptuous and elaborate Scottish breakfast is served in the dining room every morning from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday to Saturday, and from 8 a.m. to 9.30 on Sundays. Breakfast is cooked to order and, for a touch of luxury, it is served on fine china. The Ben Doran welcomes vegetarians and will cater for such dietary requirements.

* Box lunches and dinner are available upon request.
