The Bentley Hotel is in a residential area yet on the doorstep for exclusive shopping on the Kings Road and within walking distance to Knightsbridge's famous department store, Harrods.

Literally just behind the hotel is the Old Brompton Road which is where Christie's, the famous auction house is. In the same area you will find a good choice of restaurants, cafes and pubs including the infamous Coleherne pub.

The Bentley hotel has a good location if you intend to visit the annual Chelsea Flower Show. The event is held over 5 five days in May in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

LOCATION

The Bentley Hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to Gloucester Road Underground station. The station is served by the District, Circle and Piccadilly Lines.

The area is fairly quiet and away from the main tourist attractions. If you want travel to other parts of London then the Underground is the quickest and easiest way to go.

"stay was very average "
The Bentley Hotel's room was a deluxe room with a king size bed. Our stay was very average and for a 5* hotel you do expect the basics to be there. The room was clean don't get me wrong but I expect a 5* hotel to replace a stained cushion if you can get the stain out. The breakfast in room was late. Jadyn & Olivia, Keflavik

"The Bentley Hotel has an impressive design "
The Bentley Hotel has an impressive design inside, although may not be to everyone's taste. Staff we encountered were all working incredibly hard and very pleasant but clearly let down by lack of numbers and some direction. Aesthetically this hotel is pleasant, if you like lavish decoration, but under the surface it really lacks the polish I woudl expect froma 5 star hotel. Moriah & Maxwell, Santorini

"attentive"
The Bentley Hotel staff were friendly and attentive, particularly Iffi on the concierge desk. We were well accomodated when we returned late at night looking for food, after hours drinks and cigars- although we were well charged for the service! The breakfast delivered to the room was lovely but for a less formal and cheaper experience may I suggest a short walk down to the high street to the House of Coffees- wonderful fresh food and freshly squeezed orange juice with a 'New York' feel to the decor. The location was slightly further out from where we usually stay but the extra taxis fares were worth it. Last year we stayed at the Madarin Oriental and it didn't come close to this!

"Fantastic Hotel"
Stayed for 1 night, the service was fantastic, the bathrooms in this hotel are fab, tip for you! - we also parked outside the hotel for free because we arrived on a saturday, after 12.30 on Saturday there is no charge for parking and Sunday was free as long as you can find a space you can save yourself £40!.

"Best in London"
I stayed here on an anniversary trip with my husband for five nights. The rooms are lovely, the bathrooms are luxurious and beautiful and the service can not be beat. The Bentely has the friendliest, most professional, and most informed concierges I have ever encountered. My parents were celebrating their anniversary also and stayed in a room next door. Their room was decorated in a different color scheme than ours, but equally lovely. My dad's birthday happened to be during the trip and I'd informed the hotel staff upon reserving. One evening we came in from a busy day of traveling a found a beautiful chocolate dessert on a plate decorated for a Happy Birthday. The hotel is about a five minute walk to the nearest tube stop. I researched many hotels before my first trip to London from Texas. I wanted something that would allow me to live like royalty but not break the bank. This hotel is an excellent deal. ""Luxury at its best" - london's hidden Gem!"
I was amazed at the expense gone into this hotel and the value for money. We paid a rate that would normally get us a shoe box room in any other hotel but at the Bentley their standard rooms are equivalent to suite sizes in many London Hotels. 50 sqm i think. The bathrooms are all cladded with marble and have a separate shower in addition to the bath tubs. The rooms are spacious and have a separate seating area. The detailing is imaculate and the design is such that we extended our stay for 2 extra days. The food and service is to die for. 1880 - the restaurant is like dining in a Palace - the food, a grazing concept, is the best I have had and I was told by the waiter it is a carb free concept so i hope I saved some pounds - I know I definitely did staying in the Hotel. A definite must when ever you are in London. Harrods is a 10 minute walk and Heathrow is only 15 mins by car. Excellent all round. Cannot wait to go back.
