From the South
Leaving Ballina, take the Byron Bay turn to the right at the roundabout. Follow the coast road through Lennox Head and stay on this road until reaching The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa (77 -97 Broken Head Road) on the right hand side of the road, which is well sign posted. Driving time from Ballina to the resort is approximately 25 minutes.
From the North
Pass the Gold Coast airport at Coolangatta, following the signs to Ballina along the Pacific Highway. 40 minutes after leaving Coolangatta, watch for signs to Byron Bay. Take the left exit on to Ewingsdale Rd and enter the Byron township (6km from highway). Cross the railway line and turn right at the main town centre roundabout (this is Jonson Street). Follow this main street through the town until next roundabout, turn right (this is Bangalow Road/Broken Head Road). Stay on this road until arriving at The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa on the left, just 400 metres south of the Byron Bay Golf Club entrance.
Travelling by Air
Fly from most capital cities in Australia to the Gold Coast Airport at Coolangatta and drive 45 minutes south to Byron Bay. Services are plentiful on Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Blue. Alternatively fly to Ballina/Byron airport from Sydney on Virgin, Jetstar or Rex Air (flights daily) or direct flights from Melbourne with Jetstar(three times a week). The Byron at Byron Resort and Spa is approximately 25 minutes north of Ballina/Byron Airport. Rental cars are available at both Gold Coast and Ballina Airports.
