"No complaints at all"
I stayed at this hotel from 23rd-26th June for my girlfriends birthday, and I can honestly say I don't have any complaints at all. The room was very nice (and clean!) - very spacious. The bathroom was pretty good too - really nice and powerful shower (wakes you up in the morning hehe) and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Breakfast was an all you can eat buffet with full english, toast, yoghurt, fruit, croissants etc...extremely good value if you ask me. Don't have any complaints about the noise or anything like that - we were on the first floor fairly near the elevator (which we didn't use) but we weren't disturbed by any noises throughout our whole stay. The reception staff (who were the only members of staff we really had any dealings with) were very helpful and informative.
Locationwise, it's basically at one end of the promenade (the opposite end to the tower) and it's within walking distance to the pleasurebeach (which, by the way, was awesome). You're also literally 5 seconds walk from the beach (ok, maybe 10 seconds...we didn't time it ) :-)
It really is in an ideal location - far enough away from the town to avoid all the crowds and hen partys/stag do's (which there were pleanty) but close enough to be able to walk it. On the first day, we walked all along the promenade all the way to the tower, and then walked back along the beach. Then on the final day, we walked along it again, but got a horse and carriage back.
I really don't have any complaints about the hotel - great value, ideally situated, friendly staff, and a pleasureable experience. My girlfriend said her birthday was even more nice due to the fact we had such a pleasent hotel. Big thumbs up from both of us.
