"I would go again"
This place was a real find - excellent central location, helpful staff and original features. The latter is due to this place being a former residence (I think). Great value. I would certainly consider staying at this place again.

"Great Location!"
We stayed 3 nights at the Charles Hotel in Prague during October 2006 and had a great stay. The hotel is located 1 minutes walk from Charles Bridge in the Little Quarter. There are lots of places to eat and drink just by the hotel and they're generally cheaper than the other side of the bridge.
We had a top floor room in the hotel which was very clean and spacious. Breakfast in the morning was buffet style with bread, meats and cheese amongst the choice.
Staff are friendly and the taxi to and from the airport was prompt and not bad value at 20 British Pounds approx.
All in all a good place to stay.

"A lot to offer"
My wife & I stayed here at the beginning of September and had a great time. It is not the smartest of hotels, but we liked the location and its friendliness. The room was big and quite charming in an old Eastern European sort of way. It is right next to the Charles Bridge and there are some lovely restaurants and bars close by. We loved the area under the bridge, and the Jazz Bar next door was fantastic. There are no Tea/Coffee facilities, but there are plenty of places to get a coffee to go. There is even a McDonalds across the road for midnight munchies.
It is really close to the Castle and also the Petrin Tower etc.
The main square is just across the bridge and it is far enough away from the tat of Wenceslas Square.
We definitely plan to return as Prague was fantastic.
