"Really Nice"
I was truly impressed with the way the guests are treated at this hotel. You are made feel at home. The people are extremely pleasant and ready to answer your questions or help with any requests. Very good service, would highly recommend this place. The location is great as well, you are next to all the activities. Also, when you are in Whistler, do not miss The Bavarian Restaurant (a bit of a walk from this hotel, but well worth it). The Whisler Brew House has excellent food, too. Enjoy!

"Fantasy Vacation"
Fairmont Whistler was like being in a fantasy world. The scenery was eye poppling, jaw dropping. The hotel was located within 10 minute walk of the lower village where there was alot of action and great restaurants and bars. Indredible tours into bear country, fishing, glaciers. The hotel staff was the best I have ever seen. The hospitality was beyond any expectation. Very expensive, but for short visits, well worth it.

"Amazing Trip, Loved the Fairmont"
My fiancé and I went to whistler December 18-23 last year. I have been to whistler for the past 10 winter and stayed in many resorts but the Fairmont was far better then them. I was very happy with the Fairmont and its ski in ski out location. The hotel is very beautiful and it was nice not to have to unload your baggage and skis when you arrive, when we pulled up we gave our keys to the valet and they brought all our bags to our rooms and the skis to the ski room. The rooms where nice, rather large, the bed was very soft. The bathroom was kind of bland for a 5 star hotel, but I don’t spend much time in the bathroom. The rooms are not really a 5 star but the service makes up for that. Even though the hotel was completely swamped when we arrived it still took them only a couple of minutes to bring up extra pillows. We had no problem checking in and they got us the exact room we requested (we were extremely picky). Also my favorite part of the hotel was the bathrobes, everyone gets a bathroom and people walk around the hotel in bathrobes. When I first saw this I was very skeptical because I have never seen that before, but later warmed up to the idea. It was really amazing to see people walking around the lobby in bathrobes it made it feel more like home and it was a very good conversation starter. On the first night when we got back to the room we had complimentary strawberries and champagne. The snow in Whistler was awful when we went but the hotel really saved our vacation. If we would have stayed at a so-so hotel our vacation would have been ruined. It was nice to have a resort to go back to… The Mallard Lounge is wonderful, we sat outside next to the fire pit overlooking the pools and the slopes for hours, it was so peaceful. We also used the complimentary sleds it was so much fun. There was just so much to do at the hotel. We also walked down to whistler village for dinner; it’s only a short 5 minute walk. Overall it was a great hotel and we are coming back for the same week, hopefully there will be more snow, but you know it doesn’t really matter. Highly recommend! My only tip for everyone is to not skimp on the hotels to save money. It might just make or break your vacation. Happy Travels,

"great hotel with a great value and service"
After i made the reservation for this hotel, I checked it out here and was very nervous about it. (small rooms, run down, bad service...) BUT I have to give a total different statement about it! I stayed in many 5 star hotels all over the world and the service here is even a little better then I accepected. And i am a difficult guest, because I am traveling with a mentaly challenged friend of mine - a room change because he didn´t liked the room was no prob and so on! We dined at the wildflower and it was ok. Well, I can´t belive it is one of the best places in BC, because the food was not outstanding. It is a nice 5 star resort in the Rockys, with a European touch. I can recommend it.
