Being just two blocks away from the Las Vegas Strip, there are plenty of exciting activities and venues nearby!!

Part of renowned Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa's restaurant empire. River stones and bamboo decor. Modern Japanese cuisine. Sushi bar. Dinner served.

* Pink Taco:
Colorful, casual Mexican restaurant. Indoor and outdoor seating. Taco maker near the entrance. Lengthy list of tequilas, margaritas, and beers. Happy hours. Open from late morning to late evening.

* AJ�s Steakhouse:
Contemporary adaptation of classic American steakhouse. Polished blond wood, leather banquettes and booths, walls of gold drapes. Prime-grade beef, martinis. Dinner served Tuesday�Saturday.

* Mr. Lucky�s 24/7:
Decorated with Las Vegas memorabilia. Comfort food, breakfast items, vegetarian selections. Open 24 hours.

* In warm months, the Hard Rock Hotel�s focal point is its three-acre water playground, which consists of two pools, four spa tubs, and three dozen private rental cabanas with telephones, ceiling fans, and refrigerators. Swim-up blackjack tables and an Indonesian-style grill sit in the middle of it all.

* The Rock Spa provides guests with year-round relaxation and coiffing. Amenities include saunas, steam rooms, Vichy showers, signature treatments, and salon services. The Mediterranean Organic Veggie Wrap is one of their signature treatments: a skin-smoothing and -firming mask of botanical extracts, including tomato, artichoke, and pumpkin.

ROOM AMENITIES

* Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's guestrooms are located in two towers that overlook the pool area, the mountains, or the Las Vegas Strip.

* Guestrooms are decorated in a hip, contemporary style, featuring platform beds with leather headboards and premium bedding, velour furnishings, deep-purple drapes, and French doors that open to the desert air. Color photos of rock icons adorn the walls. Bathrooms have deep stainless-steel sinks and are stocked with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries.

* Rooms include 42-inch plasma TVs with first-run pay movies and continuous music videos, and Bose Wave AM/FM stereos with CD players.
