The Liaison Capitol Hill, an Affinia Hotel opened on April 1, 2008. The 343 room hotel offers guests an urban escape and the spaces and services necessary to meet, connect, unite and bond. The seasonal rooftop pool and bar, destination restaurant, Art and Soul, and lobby lounge, ArtBar provide both sophisticated and casually chic spaces for social gatherings, business meetings and more.

* Charlie Palmer Steak provides a unique dining experience of world-class cuisine and fine wine in a spectacular setting. Bistro Bis located in Hotel George, a hip and sophisticated, warm and intimate dining atmosphere. B. Smith's at Union Station features a combination of Cajun, Creole and Southern cuisine. Johnny's Half Shell opened in 1999, and chosen by Gourmet Magazine in 2000 as one of "America's Best Restaurants."
* Art Smith, owner of the top-rated TABLE fifty two in Chicago and two-time James Beard Award recipient, has made his first foray into the Beltway. A contributing editor to O, the Oprah Magazine and the Food section of Oprah.com , Art has appeared several times on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and is featured regularly on television programs, serving as a regular tasting judge on Food Network’s “Iron Chef America.” His newest restaurant is Art and Soul and is located in The Liaison Capitol Hill, an Affinia Hotel. The restaurant, which seats 221, features indoor and outdoor patio seating. A design extension of the lobby and bar areas, the restaurant features built-in conversation areas, contemporary lighting, 16-foot rolling glass walls and stainless steel curtains to create an atmosphere of stylish urban sophistication.
* The hotel’s enhanced meeting rooms feature a combined 10,000-square-feet of flexible meeting space making up a total of 10 rooms. The second floor meeting space transitions into three state-of-the-art executive boardrooms, each with LCD TVs, kitchenette and a private powder room. Pre-function space features large, dramatic artwork and new contemporary lighting. The majority of the meeting space is located on the Lobby level of the Hotel which features our main ballroom, three additional meeting rooms, and a centralized pre function area. The Metropolitan, our 4,400 square-foot ballroom, is divisible into three sections. Our second largest ballroom is 1,600 square feet and can be combined with two other meeting rooms. The entire space may be combined for large events up to 800 people.
