For the sporting enthusiast there are the homes of the two great teams Liverpool & Everton FC, nearly twenty golf courses from the pay and play to probably the finest links course in the world, Royal Birkdale. Aintree Racecourse, home of The Grand National and the other famous race course of Haydock Park are all no more than a short drive away.

Knowsley Safari Park, Chester Zoo, Martin Mere, Blue Planet Aquarium, Ness Gardens, the Pleasurelands of Blackpool & Southport, and the famous stately homes of Croxteth, Speke and Rufford Old Hall most of which can be reached in just a few minutes.
