"A winner among many"
It's been 15 years since we last stayed at this hotel and it has actually gotten better with time. We had a wonderful junior suite overlooking the marina with access to the Club floor. Personnel, without exception was excellent. The Club floor goodies were very nice with extremely helpful and friendly ladies there. If there is one spot that could be picked on it would have to be the food at dinner in the restaurant. It was juat mediocre; strangely it was quite good at the same place for lunch.

As expected, our stay at the Ritz-Carlton was a very pleasant one. Our room was big and had a beautiful view of the marina. The Club Level staff was great and set to please. We can't wait to go back! One very comforting detail was that as we were arriving to Marina del Rey in the evening, I realized I had left our passports and cash in the safe at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel which I had checked of earlier that day. The concierge was very dilligent and a staff member of the Laguna Niguel property, who lived near Marina del Rey, brought my passports and money to Marina del Rey personally that same night. On our family trip to California in December, we stayed at the Ritz-Carlton properties in Marina del Rey, Laguna Niguel and San Francisco. The excellent level of service at every location have made our vacations a very pleasant experience.

"Perfect hotel!"
We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Marina del Rey for four nights in December. The hotel was beautiful, and the staff was some of the best that I have ever encountered. The concierge took care of a number of special arrangements for me, including their rose pedal turn down service, which was excellent. From the moment we arrived, each and every staff member treated us superbly. The hotel has very convenient access to the 405 and to Santa Monica via surface streets. There are a few restaurants and coffee shops nearby if one wants eat outside of the hotel. I wil return for all of my future L.A. visits.
