"Great Hotel" We stayed in the Square over New Year after reading the reviews on this website. I was a bit worried as some of the reviews had been quite negative, although due to the price and the position I decided to take a gamble. I'm really glad we did, because the hotel could not have been better for us. It is 5 mins walk from the train station, which in turn is 12 mins from the airport. It is right next to Tivoli which is very convenient and well worth a visit. The Main Square, where the hotel is situated, is the centre of everything and very easy access to the main sites. The breakfast was amazing, great choice, great service and everything is so fresh. The room was large although I think we were lucky and got a room with a sofa bed too so that explained why it was so big. The rooms we snooped in as they were being cleaned didn't seem as big as ours. New Year in Copenhagen is a bit of a let down because not much is open and it is difficult to find anywhere to eat for a reasonable price if you haven't booked weeks in advance. The restaurant Peder Oxe is well worth a visit, highly recommended. The fireworks on the main square are amazing though, as long as you don't get hit, and the city is great in itself even if nothing is open, it is still very beautiful.

"Nice modern hotel" We stayed at The Square over NYE (am a bit slow getting to my review lol). The Square was chosen once again based on the reviews on Tripadvisor and we were happy with the result. After a short walk from the train station we easily found the hotel. Check in was a breeze and the staff friendly and accomodating. We were a bit cheeky and made two seperate bookings to take advantage of both the Romantic Weekend and Monkey deal so we had the best of both worlds. Without complaint we were given the complimentary sparkles and fruit platter on arrival and the (reduced) dinner voucher was chucked in too. We then also got the free zoo tickets. Thankfully we did not have to check out and check back in for the 2nd deal. We were allowed to stay in the same room throughout. The hotel itself is clean, modern and very well located. We took advantage of the location and used it as a base to see all on foot. We were grateful to catch the last day of the Tivoli Gardens Christmas season. Yes our room was small but it was comfortable and adequate for our needs. The heated bathroom floor was a welcome bonus :) As previously posted, NYE in Copenhagen was a bit of a let down. We went for pubs and clubs only to find that most don't open until about 2230 - 2300 as the locals apparently spend the evening indoors with friends and family. Sadly due to the late nights we never made it to breakfast so cannot comment there. I would deffo recommend this hotel.

"A pleasant Stay" What a fabulous hotel. We stayed there for the MTV Europe awards and had a great time. The staff were lovely, very helpful (they even helped us make up a breakfast plate for our friends who were too tired to get to breakfast before 10am!). The hotel is minimalist and very chic, the bathrooms are fabulous and the bathtub amazingly long, perfect for a leisurely soak. Location was excellent, right in centre of town and near Tivoli Gardens. Only negative beds are bit tiny (particularly if you like to sleep in the foetal position) but they were so so comfy - got the best nights sleep ever. As we were a group booking we all checked in together and even that went quickly and smoothly.

"Fab hotel" We stayed here in October, the hotel room was very clean and quite roomy (we had booked an up grade). The bathroom was a little small but clean and in good condition. Breakfast was very busy on Sunday morning and much quieter on Monday - but no problems finding a table and there was plenty of choice. One thing we didn't like, we got what we thought was orange juice but it turned out to be orange squash. This is just me being a bit picky though! The hotel is very near the centre of town and it is easy to get around. As it is so near the train station it was easy to travel to and from the airport. We would stay here again and would highly reccomend it.

"Great Hotel" Excellent hotel. Apart from one particular individual whom we learned quickly to avoid, all staff were friendly and efficient and more than happy to help. The room, whilst small was spotless and the bathroom was modern bright and also spotless. Breakfast was great, plentiful and never ran out. The location couldnt be better, right in the centre, beside tivoli and a short stroll in any direction from all the sights. Will definetely use again. Tip. the coffee shop on the corner beside the hotel does the best coffee in copenhagen.
