great stay Higly recommended hotel. I just could not believe the amazing view of my window, spectacular!! Very efficient room facilities and clean towels. I ate at the hotel - Falco restaurant that seems as one of the bests in the town, really it was! Foods were yummy. I also want to thank the competent & friendly staff of the hotel. Coming back... 4.6

"Fine Place in Good Location" We spent three days at the Westin in July 2003. As Starwood Preferred customers, we were given an upgrade to a large suite with 2 bathrooms and many other appealing features. This hotel is very close to the Hauptbahnhof--not only the main rail station but also the most resourceful shopping mall in Leipzig. Very polite staff, well-equipped business center, lots of amenities.

"Tororo" We had an excellent stay in Westin. We had a decent size room, completely renovated and modern in style. The location was convenient to explore the town - very close to the main station and just a short walk to the center (5-10min). Breakfast was gorgeous (which is often the case in hotels in Germany) and we were surprised about the quality of tea (which is usually not so great in German hotels - even at 5 star hotels). We dined at their top floor restaurant, Falcon, and we had a very enjoyable meal and the service staffs were impressive - they were very friendly and had good expertise on each of their field (service, wine, cheese etc). One area for improvement - we drove by car, but we were told that they did not have a covered garage. Overall, however, we were very much satisfied with the hotel and thought the cost performance was high.
