"lLoved the Westin, staff and location!!!"
we stayed at the westin for four nights, the staff was wonderful and very helpful, including staff in the breakfast room, the breakfast buffet looked good, though I am not a breakfast eater, my husband sure enjoyed it. Our bed was delicious, the room was spotless with everything you would expect from a Westin and the location was excellent just an easy walk to get you going into the center and the action and close to tram, bus etc. My husband and I would stay there again!!! We just fell in love with this wonderful city!

"The Westin Zagreb is a Winner"
My wife and I stayed at the Westin Zagreb in September 2006. We found our stay at the hotel to be an all around good experience. The staff at the front desk were very professional and helpful. Check in went quickly and we were given an upper-floor non-smoking room just as we had requested by email. The room was very nice and well appointed. The bed was firm and comfortable. The breakfast was very good, though is not included with the price of the room. The Westin is a 15-20 minute walk to the old town. Parts of Zagreb look a bit tired, but some of the architecture is very interesting and the old city is worth a full day visit. The hotel is also a 15-20 minute walk to the train station. Overall, we found the Westin to be of good value for a four star hotel.

"Wow - very well maintained and staffed"
I was a little apprehensive when I approached this hotel, it has kind of a Soviet-Era looking exterior, but after dealing withe the front desk staff and checking in my room, I was impressed.
The front desk staff were very efficient and spoke excellent English. The room was incredibly clean and well appointed and even had a pretty good view.
When asking for directions I found everyone very patient and helpful.
I stay at Westing properties all the time and I'm a Starwood Platinum holder, and I'd say this was one of my better Westin experiences, anywhere.
Well done, Zagreb Westin.

"Loved the Westin!"
A wonderful hotel. The beds were the most comfortable we slept in during our entire 3-week family vacation to Croatia! The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. Very up-to-date hotel - all top notch quality. A lovely place to stay - we would stay there again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent hotel and good night's sleep!

"Wonderful Westin"
We recently returned from Croatia and by far the best place we stayed was the Westin in Zagreb which we booked on hotels.com. The hotel is a pleasant stroll (about 10-20mins) to the various centres of the city (shopping, sights, trains etc) or a 3-4 minute tram ride. The tram stop is right outside the hotel so it is a very convenient way of getting around. The hotel itself is everything you expect from a Westin hotel. Whilst the outside is a little austere, the interior is very modern and elegant. We found the check-in to be smooth and efficient. The room itself was a good size, with lovely furnishings and fittings. We had 3 people in our standard room (with a roll-away bed) and there was still plenty of room for all. The bathroom was also large with a modern marble finish and the bath/shower had great water pressure! We were on the 12th floor, so we had a wonderful view of the city.
We had breakfast included which was extensive in its range but was swiftly whisked away at 10am (a bit early for us night-owls!). Lastly, the Business Centre had 2 computer terminals with free internet which was handy to check email or to book your onward hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again next time in Zagreb.
