"FANTASTIC!! Thanks for a great weekend!!" After being drastically let down by the hotel we originally booked into after they said our rooms had been mysteriously cancelled, this hotel put up with 14 girls for two nights at the last minute and were fantastic. They found us rooms and could not do enough for us, they were friendly, helpful and the rooms were lovely. We had a beautiful seaview and the choice of breakfast was fantastic. Bar was a bit pricey but none-the-less we had a great time. It does depend on peoples tastes but this hotel was beautiful and definately deserves a visit!!

"LOVELY HOTEL, GIVE IT A TRY!" Having booked the Thistle Brighton for a weekend break I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and wished I had booked elsewhere. I expected unfriendly staff, dirty bed covers, cold food, etc. But how wrong I was. The people were so friendly, they couldn't do enough to help us - I had my purse stolen outside the hotel on the first afternoon we arrived, and the manager went out of his way to go into all the restaurants nearby etc trying to locate my purse, eventually running to a local shop to collect it (with all the cash gone, of course). But so friendly and helpful. The room had a lovely view of the atrium of the hotel as well as a view of the sea outside. The food was lovely, we had a meal included with our stay and I would recommend it, the breakfast was nice too. No bed covers, just a white duvet which was sufficient - and oh yes the air conditioning was switched on when we came back into the room! Nothing was too much trouble, I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - but ladies beware - pickpockets are about in Brighton! I seriously think the Thistle Group read these bad reviews, and have acted on them.
