Very nice hotel with excellent downtown location
Hotel was very nice with friendly staff. The restaurant had a continental style buffet breakfast with wonderful made to order waffles...yummy! The exercise room had 4 machines and was rather small, but adequate for the time of year. I would choose to stay here again with no questions asked.

Stayed here for one night en route to Vancouver. I was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The staff were really friendly and efficient. The rooms are large and clean with all the facilities you need. Despite being right next to the train tracks, we weren't disturbed by noise. The pool and hot tub were really nice - there was also a gym and games room which looked good. The restaurant at the hotel is apparentlty quite new, the breakfast buffet was excellent. I would recommend The Thompson Hotel to anyone staying over in Kamloops.

What a great time I had here. Centrally located right on the cool downtown street of Kamloops. Free parking, microwave, fridge, brand name shampoo, large bed, desk, inddor pool and jacuzzi, games room, free breakfast, office that you can use for business.
