"fabulous service, staff, food, weather and views"
couldn't fault the hotel. excellent in every way possible, food - great choice, rooms very clean, staff pleasant, friendly and helpful, location very relaxing by the marina. whole resort very clean. wind was stronger than expected (NOV), palm tree branches had to be tied up to stop them from breaking in the wind. shop owners always trying to sell you something for a better deal than the next (shop around and be strong at saying NO). liked it so much we are going back again in June 2007 - can't wait!!

"Wow, Wow, Wow"
This hotel deserves a great revue - but if I do that it might make it so popular it spoils it!! We stayed for 2 weeks in the hotel and were never once bored. The staff were totally professional and the service an example to some of the best hotels in the world as to how to do it. The pools are great, the food, both buffet and a la carte are superb but a trip out into the marina or down town is worth it for a few pounds and a bit of local colour. The dive center in the hotel is excellent and great value for money with the friendliest of people. Egyptians are great people who genuinely care about their visitors and whilst you do get a bit of attention from the shopkeepers, it is no more than you get in Italy or Spain - don't confuse Egyptian shopping with their neighbours in other N. African countries.
If you go to one place in North Africa make it El Gouna and if you go to one hotel make it this one. The so-called better class hotels in the area are in bad positions, have tired decor and the service cannot possibly be better than here. Save your money and go here - you will be hard pressed to find anywhere to rival it anywhere in the world for the great price you pay.

"Simply amazing."
This hotel are what dreams are made for, it is a wonderful paradise.
We stayed here for the first time at the end of Feb and returned in April with my parents.
The food is well above average, even though we used the dine around system quite a few times.
The steaks at Captains Inn are tremendous and i have never seen shrimps as big as thiers.
What do people want to read from a review, well my review of this hotel is tinted with a passion to return again as soon as i can.
The staff are superb and nothing is to much trouble, i even received a present from the bell boy, how nice is that.
The rooms are nice, we had room number 2171 about 15 paces from the swimming pool, what a lovely way to wake in the morning.
The animation team are great especially Sam and Yankee.
The marina is wonderful and is buzzing on Friday night, it is possibly the cleanest resort in the world.
If i won the lottery you would know where i would be living.
It is simply fantastic.
