"GoodHotel-Great Location!" The hotel is in a great location with lots of good restaurants a 1 minute walk away as well as lots of shops (mostly clothes). The hotel is easily accessible and in what seemed a very safe area - we never had any problems coming back at night (1am-ish). The metro is excellent and Montparnass bienvenue station is 1 minute away and is abt a 10 minute train ride away from the Eiffel Tower and about 15-20 mins from Notre Dame and the latin quarter. Don't bother with cabs the metro is definitely the way to go! If you are coming from CDG airport to the hotel-take the air france bus; it stop about a 10 minute walk from the hotel and only costs 12euros. A cab will cost in excess of 40 euros. The hotel is very clean and has bathroom+showers of a good size. The rooms are basic with a television, coffee/tea making facilities and the bed. They are clean and serviced daily. It is true that there is no air conditioning, no iron and no hair-dryers in the room. But if you are planning to see Paris properly this is definitely a good hotel to go for in terms of cleanliness and price. We would stay there again.
