"New Years Eve i Paris"
I stayed at the Tonic Hotel New Years Eve 2002. Although the streets outside were a little noisy after midnight, the room was very comfortable. I would stay again. |

"Cheap and very cheerful!"
I stayed here for Valentines weekend 2004. Great location, halfway between the Place de Bastille and Gare de Lyon, down a little side street. You can walk there in about 5 mins form Gare de Lyon, where there is an aiport bus for 11.5euros, which is handy. Very friendly and helpful reception staff. Rooms look cheap, and are small and basic, but have everything you need and are fairly clean. Worth the money (£50 per room per night), and a good base to explore the city.
