Top Hotel A very clean, impressive hotel. Pool loked nice although it was all being renovated while we were there. Very busy with meetings. Transport good. Buy your ticket from the machine outside 80k for all Prague for 24 hours any transport. Standard rooms basic if you like a bath upgrade. The czechs may seem abrupt but it is just their way they are really friendly and have a dry sense of humour. Their multilingual abilities are comendable.

"Excellent in all aspects" We stayed 5 days. I don't know how but we got a suite when we expected a normal room. Apart from this, breakfast was very much varied (though same things all days), it was completely clean and there were all kinds of facilities. Even the price of the restaurants in the hotel was ok. A bus stopped close to the hotel, thought we took our car. Parking in the hotel was note expensive and there was security all day. We felt at home all time.

"Great Hotel" Nine of us stayed here for 4 days. Every aspect was great. No problems in getting to central Prague, bus right outside hotel then just 8 stops to centre of prague. Food in hotel good, varied and quite reasonable. Casino bar open until 4am!! Would definatly stay there again.

"Loved the Top Hotel Praha" I was aprehensive aout staying at the Top Hotel in Prague after reading some bad reviews. The hotel is very grand. The room we had was big with great views over the city and was cleaned every day. Staff are friendly and helpful. A valentines day meal in the Bohemia restaurant was 3 courses with a bottle of good red wine included all for £16.00 in total which we thought was good value for money. Drink prices are reasonable in the hotel and there are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from. There is a bus every 10 minutes outside the hotel which takes you into Chodov where you can catch the metro into Prague centre these run about every 5 minutes. You can buy a 1 day or 3 day pass which allows you to travel anywhere within the city limits as many times as you want to (3 day pass is about £5.00). The total joutney into Prague centre is about half an hour. A taxi from the airport will cost about £20.00. There is a bus service to and from the airport which costs about 65p and takes you to the metro station where you can catch the metro then the bus to the hotel, this will take about 1 hour and costs a lot less than a taxi. I would definately stay here again.

"10 visits in 1 year" i have stayed at the top hotel several times over the last year and the readers review is untrue. the staff are friendly and helpful, especially the staff in the czech bar. the bus actually runs every 20minutes and timetables are freely handed out at reception therefore there is no need to wait around. the links to the city are good. leisure faccilities are good, paying for these puts off the timewasters. it is a well run, value for money hotel, fully recommended.

Poor Location, Hall lights and Elevator Problems Stayed two nights at Top Hotel Praha(indicate to taxi driver) as there is a Hotel Praha and the ride to Top Hotel Praha is more. To get downtown Prague you will need to take 15 minute bus ride to the metro station and then two Metro trains. Hall lights not always working and elevator breakdown was a problem.

"Good value. Clean hotel." Myself and my girlfriend spent 4 nights at this hotel recentley. We read the reviews and wondered what to expect. Having been there, i have no idea how the hotel has been reviewed so badly. The hotel is immaculate and clean. The facilities are good. Enough to justify a 4 star. I know People have their opinions, but i'm not sure what people expect for such a good price. Yeah the hotel is a bit out of the way, but nothing that your not told on most websites before booking. As for the staff. I don't think they are rude. They may seem abrupt. But czechs somtimes come across this way. They are no worse than brits!! I also think the language barrier is the main cause. Not many english speak czech! So the amount of english they do manage (as well as other foriegen languages) is commendable. The time to get to the city centre is about 30 mins, but is easy. A bus pulls up outside the hotel and takes you to the metro station. Thens its a few stops from there. Make sure you buy a ticket in the hotel shop and when you get on the bus, put it into the yellow machine to validate. This then allows you onto the subway aswell (so don't get another ticket at the metro). If you don't validate the ticket (in the yellow machine) and an inspector stops you. You'll get a large fine. For the sake of 50p for a ticket, its not worth it. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AND WOULD GO BACK. Just a tip. Get you beers etc from the 24 hr bar downstairs. Its half the price of the beers in the hotel.

"Great value for money- well worth a visit" This hotel was perfect- away from all the noise of the very centre of Prague. We were very impressed with the appearance and ammeneties the hotel had to offer. Would definately stay there again. Couldn't fault the staff at all.
