"New, quality hotel, still learning the ropes"
I've stayed 4 times at the Tower, as a visiting businessman. It has comfortable, clean rooms, but then it is very new. They once assigned me to a room for a handicapped person, and I had to lean over to see the mirror to shave. But, hey, high marks for having such rooms for the handicapped. I asked for a duvet (quilt/comforter) for my bed, and they promised one, but then failed to deliver. The staff is young, and sometimes exhibit confusion or inexperience. But they are friendly. The breakfast offers a good variety, but I cannot advise on the hot breakfast--it is available--as I normally only take the continental. Toast and tea are served promptly.
Choose this hotel primarily for the convenience and cleanliness. It is smack dab in city centre, close to everything, can't beat that. Very quiet, not a sound from outside, which is my number one priority, I mostly want a hotel to SLEEP well in!
