"Love this place!" Stayed here for three nights at the beginning of June. My parents were travelling from New Zealand and with the exchange rate we needed somewhere economical to stay. I managed to get the Saver rate at just £26.00 a night so in all, £104.00 for 3 nights in London has to be the bargain of the century - and cheap even by New Zealand standards! The hotel is only about 6 months old, rooms are super clean, beds are great and the service was excellent. We had a family room which included a double bed and pull-out sofa-bed. We also ate in the restaurant and the food was great and good value for money. Over looking the runway, the location is about a 10 minute walk to London City Airport DLR station and from there it is about a 30 minute DLR/tube ride into central London. I cannot recommend this hotel enough - especially if you are on a budget - and remember to book early to get the Saver (£26.00) or even Super Saver (£10.00) rates...PS I don't work Travelodge - just love the concept!
