"Great location and value!"
This was a great hotel for the money. Fantastic location on the Southbank within walking distance of the restaurants and bars on the riverbank, in the city, and also the many sights to see in Melbourne.
Very clean room with the essential including air conditioning, ironing board, hairdryer etc.
If you enjoy breakfasting in the comfort of a luxury hotel this probably isnt for you - the breakfast room felt a bit like a school cafeteria (but the food was much better!), but with so many cafes within walking distance we only ate breakfast in the hotel the first morning, until we got our bearings in the city!

"Loved the Location"
We found it was excellent value for money at $105 per night. The room was clean and modern and slighty on the small side, but otherwise fine. Buffet breakfast was downstairs and at $15 pp.
The only complant we found was that I think the room was used previously by smokers.Perhaps the hotel should divide the rooms into non-smoking and smoking. The travelodge is close to the casino and all the activites on the Southbank..

"Great Location, Good Value"
We stayed here first time a month ago for a 1 night stay. Location excellent and value was terrific. Paid approx $120 per night for 2 adults and teenager and included breakfast for two. Room for 3 was adequate for 1 night maybe a couple more nights. 2 Double beds, big enough to move around. Clean, comfortable and quiet considering it was so close to all the action. Facilities were excellent , Supermarket & Bottle shop very close by as is all Southbank restaurants and Casino. Breakfast was basic but fine for the rate paid for room. It is a great location as is just far away from Casino to avoid noise but still close by all the action of Southbank. The Food Court at Southbank is nice to eat for a quick meal - much nicer than the busy Food Court at Casino. All restaurants close and a quick walk to city via the walkway bridge over the yarra. Dont need to walk up Swanston St. Will stay here again without doubt - particularly if are we not doing alot of shopping in city. Excellent choice.
