"good value, friendly, close to Gare de Lyon" This is a nice budget hotel. It's clean, comfortable and well located close to the Gare de Lyon -just a few blocks to walk. Also within walking distance to the Bastille . We only stayed one night so weren't able to explore the area a great deal but we did find a very good street market close by. It's very well priced, staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although rooms are small the bathroom was reasonable in size (bigger than some other budget hotels we've stayed in). Breakfast is extra so we decided to eat in one of the many cafes along the street. Overall I would say that it's a good value budget hotel close to Gare de Lyon which is exactly what we were looking for.
