"Great stay in a historical place."
We stayed in the old building which was very impressive : high ceilings, nice furniture although the room was small. The staff was very friendly and efficient.
The restaurants are of high standards and the bar offers a very large choice of quality brandies.
Le Chateau de Versailles is one of the most beautifull place in the area. Any tourist should stop there.
The breakfast takes place in the room full of history.
Very high rates for high quality.

"The truth about the hotel"
My dear readers...
this is not an American Hotel like the majority of the SPG or Hilton hotels found in Paris. it is managed by westin, but still is a family owned hotel. they have closed the Palace building for renovations over the summer (strange choice of time) and will reopen it in the fall. therefor, expect newer rooms, and a new layout. As all hotels, before their renovations, they need to need them, so the complaints about the cleanliness and representation is expected, hnece the present renovations...i stay at this hotel every summer during my summer holidays, and every year am blown away by the service. expensive restaurants...there's a reason it has so many stars: good food= expensive tab! room service, if you are staying at a 4 or 5 stared hotel, one cannot expect to pay cheaper for inroom than in the restaurent, just as in four season hotels, fairmonts, etc...

"What a heavenly Place!!"
I spent the Easter weekend here with my fiancee. A truly remarkable place - we had a fantastic room on the 3rd floor - and were able to see the Palace from our window. The room was spacious - light and airy - the bathroom divine.
Above all - the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and went out of their way to ensure our requests were met.
It's proximity to the Palace waqs excellent -( yep practically next door!!) and our access to the Palace grounds and park was unbelieveable
I would truly recommend this hotel as 'the' hotel to stay when in Versailles.

"Fantastic place"
My wife and I stayed here two nights on our honeymoon and must say everything about this hotel was fantastic. We were upgraded to a junior suite overlooking the countryside. The pool area with sauna and sundeck was great. We had champagne with strawberries on arrival and the breakfast was superb. We had a wonderful time!

"We loved this hotel"
Luxury all the way. We stayed 5 nights in the main building, room 106, first floor. Room was very nice and bathroom was huge and modern. Staff was very service oriented and made us feel welcome. IF you have some money to burn, stay here. Room service food was very good, but expensive of course. I went to the spa and had a manicure --the experience was fun, but I have had better manicures for the $$.
Versailles is a lovely place and this hotel is so close to the gardens. I would go back if at all possible.

"Delighted with the Trianon"
Stayed in the Pavillion for 4 nights in July 06, using points + cash. Room was not spectacular but quiet and very comfortable with a nice view of the gardens. The swimming pool is specatular and the tunnel connecting the pavillion to the main hotel is charming. The front desk staff were pleasant and helpful. We played tennis every day (no charge). The location is superb and we enjoyed the stroll to the Grand Trianon palace on our arrival day. We did not eat at the hotel - there are many restaurants within walking distance. We were very happy with our stay.
