"Super nice staff, great location"
Was here October 2002 on an AA vacation. Super nice staff behind the desk. Got us our room early which was great after the 7 hour flight. Helps us with all our needs. Great location, and nice breakfast. I would stay here again. A real Paris hotel with a great feel to it. Only draw back is the rooms are small. Put hey its Paris, you should be out and about not hanging in the room |

"Great Staff, Good Hotel"
What a great staff! They were totally on top of everything we needed and wanted. They were all very fluent in English. The housekeeping staff will not take no for an answer if you wish to not be disturbed. They like to keep the rooms looking fresh daily. The hotel was a typically basic hotel with few amenities, however. It was expected though. We got a great price through AA Vacations and got MORE than our moneys worth! Bonjour and Enjoy!

"Good Place to Stay"
This is a nice, clean and safe option for the traveler more interested in spending their money on actually seeing Paris, rather than spending time in their hotel. The “W” it’s not; neither is it a “Westin” or “Ritz”. But, the hotel is near several metro stops (Trinite, St. Lazare and Pigalle), Montmatre, and yes Pigalle with its porn shops and strip clubs- however reading the previous reviews they make it sound like they are at your door step but they’re not unless you go out of your way to get to them. The staff all speaks English and are a good information resource. The rooms are cleaned each morning (but don’t expect 400 count sheet or plush terry cloth towels). Breakfast is served each morning by a cheerful staff- and yes you may get bored with eating the same thing every day but you are after all in Paris and not Wisconsin (meaning, they’re just not into big hearty breakfasts). All in all a very good option |
