Tryp Albayzin Hotel is located in the centre of Granada, next to the Basilica of the Nuestra Senora De Las Angustias. The hotel is located in the city centre, near the main district and 5 minutes by car from the famous Alhambra Palace. This four floor hotel was built in 1992, and its interior reflects the full flavour and originality of Granadan architecture. The hotel has two large patios which are decorated with typical Granadan paving stones, one of which has a beautiful fountain with a crystal cover.

Its interior is entirely built with all the flavour and elements of the local architecture. The two interior courtyards are decorated with Granada Paving and one of them has been enhanced with a typical fountain and covered with a glass roof.

The lobby continues the Andalucian style and is spacious with a very comfortable seating area. The American bar is also located on the ground floor and is traditionally furnished with comfortable leather armchairs.

Tryp Albayzin Hotel is located in Carrera del Genil, in the city centre, it is close to Nuestra Señora de las Angustias Church and to the Congress Hall. Its interior is characterised by the typical elements of the Granada architecture.

"Perfect for our needs"
We stayed at this Hotel recommended by our Spanish friends and found it perfect for our needs. We had a room at the back of the Hotel and apart from it being too hot it was the quietist hotel we had ever stayed in. We did not eat here as we wanted to experience Granada not Hotel Tryp Albayzin. The staff however were very helpful and friendly - we even had our car parked for us and brought to the front when ever we needed it. The location was excellent and we would definately stay here again.

"Good choice for Granada"
Stayed here 2 nights March 2006 with my wife and we enjoyed the stay. Pleasant, helpful staff and recently redecorated, quiet room. Easy walk to centre of Granada and on 2nd day of our stay we walked to the Alhambra (best to pre-book Alhambra tickets and thus avoid potentially lengthy queues). Had breakfast and evening meals in hotel - a good sign was that there were plenty of locals using the reataurant. Overall an enjoyable stay and would happily recommend this traditional city centre establishment.

this hotel is conveniently located by el corte ingles...not too far of a walk from the main plaza...nice, clean room...and very courteous, nice staff.

"lovely hotel"
We stayed at this hotel in June 2005 and loved it. We had a triple room and even with the extra bed the room was still spacious. The decor is nice with Moorish touches without being too over the top. The room was also very clean and bright and looked out onto the Basilica next door. The clock at the basilica chimed every 15 minutes during the day which some people may find annoying, but didn't bother us, especially as we were out most of the day. There is nothing at night so you won't be disturbed while sleeing if you get a room at that side of the hotel! Breakfast was nice, as was the lovely atrium where you could sit. All the frontdesk staff were extremely nice and helpful, especially a man by the name of Domingo. The location of the hotel is also great. It's on a lovely tree lined street that has a great atmosphere especially at night with street vendors etc. It's also right next to the El Corte Inglés department store which is great for buying things like water as there is a huge supermarket in the basement. It's only about a 5-10 walk to the main square/streets so you still felt like you were in the main hub yet without being RIGHT there with all the noise etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
