"Excellent Hotel"
My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 9 nights in September. We had previously used the hotel a couple of years ago and the standard was still as good. The room was large and spotlessly clean. The hotel facilities were all excellent. We got a good room only deal through Sol Melia and used the MAS card to get 2 for 1 breakfast which was excellent value. The hotel is situated approx 20 minutes walk from the centre of Palma opposite the marina and there are restaurants in the adjacent neighbourhood. The No1 bus to and from the airport passes the hotel - 1.80 euros each way. The electric train to Soller, which leaves from the centre of Palma, provides a pleasant way to see part of the rugged landscape of northern Mallorca. We would certainly recommend the Tryp Bellver.

"Perfect location"
We booked this hotel to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary, we booked this hotel because of the location to the marina and the fabulous views. The rooms were furnished well ,with an enormous clean bathroom. we had a sea view room but as we were on the first floor we were limited as to what we could see. The service in the hotel was fabulous, the staff could not have been more helpful, from the cleaners to the reception. The swimming pool was lovely, clean and plenty of beautiful laundered towels for you to use.The only down side was that there was building work next door and it was a little noisy, but obviously this will not be happening all the time. It took about 30 minutes to walk into the centre of Palma, but it was a lovely walk along the marina, passing plenty of places to stop.Beside the hotel there are a variety of different restaurants but our favourite was the Mediterranean 1932, first class.

"Excellent Hotel"
My boyfriend and I have just returned from a 4 day break in Palma. The Tryp Bellver is in a great location overlooking the marina, about a ten minute walk to the centre of Palma. We asked on arrival for a sea view and upgraded our room for approx 16euros / night/ - this was definitely worth the money. We had a balcony where we could sit at night watching the yachts and cruise liners coming to shore, just wonderful. The hotel staff were so polite and helped us find traditional tapas bars which had been recommended to us. Nothing was too much trouble. The hotel decor is lovely, above average. In a way the hotel is quite business like and not really a touristy hotel, however this did not bother us. It appeared that a lot of Spanish used the hotel with their families. The rooms were cleaned daily to a high standard. The pool was welcomed after trekking round the city, it isn't big, but large enough for a few laps to cool down at the end of the day. Towels were provided. All in all I would recommend the hotel and would definitely return to Palma and stay at this hotel. Tip - book directly through the hotel website, this saved us a lot of money.

"Palma's gem"
This is an excellent hotel situated on a prime site on the Paseo Maritimo overlooking the yacht marina and harbour. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the hotel is spotlessly clean and well decorated. The concierge Martin is particulalry helpful as is the reception staff. Well recommended!
