"Great Experience!"
I can say what most others have said. This is a quaint hotel which was reasonably priced and had friendly service. This is not a 5 star hotel and it is not in the middle of the paris nightlife. IT IS however a great home base in a quiet and peaceful and pretty area. As others have said, the hotel was clean, the rooms were an okay size, the service was spot on, and there was a lovely open air market in mornings (thursdays and saturdays) and we found (my wife and I) the walk to the metro to be easy and we even would stop on our way to enjoy a crepe and an espresso. You almost start feeling like you live in Paris, because you're not staying in the ultra touristy areas.
10 min (walk) from some great cafes & the metro (which can take you anywhere easily) and a 20 min walk to the eiffel tower (which you can see right from the hotel at a good angel).
Also a 10 min walk from Rue Cler, an excellent street with many fine shops (mostly food, yummy).
I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

"Peaceful little hotel"
It was a little tricky to find, even had to phone home to make sure I had the right address! However, being off a side street of a quite road in itself, this was the best nights sleep I've EVER had in a hotel. Very peaceful, no light or noise coming in from outside and an extra big fluffy pillow found in the cupboard - bliss. The view of the Eiffel Tower at night from the road outside was very pretty.
The room was fine, enough space etc and had a small balcony which we enjoyed some wine and cheese on. The bathroom is basic and needs updating. Our showerhead attachment did not fit into the holder so had to put an elastic band around it to stop it keep turning to the wall with the water pressure. Our mini bar wasn't stoked on the first night so we asked it to be topped up. They didn't seem to make a note of this so tried to charge us for the missing items on departure but he didn't argue when we explained. Breakfast was a good selection of pastries, bread & cheeses, cereal, yogurt, eggs, sausages & toast etc and the tea wasn't too bad for France either! Would stay here again for the right price, we paid approx £200 each for the flights and 3 nights B&B, seemed good value for that.
Didn't take any pictures of our room but those already here are typical of the room we stayed in.

"Really enjoyed our stay!"
This was my first visit to Paris celebrating 10 years of married bliss (well most of the time anyway!)
The hotel was as described in the other reviews and, most importanly, by the hotel web adverts - even the photos were genuine.
The hotel is situated in a really quite nice part of the city - I kept reading how certain parts of the city were not particularly pleasant - well I felt very comfortable walking around this hotel area at night.
The rooms were clean and pleasant - the decor is attractive and in very good order.
The hotel is part of a chain which contains larger hotels - so you received quality hotel service.
The lift is quite fun and very compact.
Breakfast was very enoyable with plenty of choice.
Look out for the super market on saturday mornings very |
